Some doodles.
I don't draw as often as I used to, I'm still a serial doodler and always keep a notebook to hand so I can draw/write/generally record anything I need to. I just scanned a few pages (this is just a tiny portion of the feast on offer though) because it's been a while since I've posted anything I drew online and I miss the feeling!

nice skillz! Particularly in the 3rd pic, rough and ready sketches are always the best!, ever considered story boarding? You could be onto something there, you have that kind of style.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely buzzing today, an old film favourite; High fidelity came on to distract me from work last night, now i'm just rediscovering the sound track i.e. a bit of stevie wonder!, ruddy marvelous!

ReplyDeleteHehe thanks, the second one was drawn around October 2007, I remember it was inspired by the track All I Need when Radiohead had just released In Rainbows... I drew that one at work, back in the days of being an office monkey.
ReplyDeleteThe first pic also needs a bit of an explanation... basically I was planning to start a webcomic (here wouldn't be a bad place to put it actually) and at the time of drawing I was waiting for two things to be delivered from Scotland - one was a gasmask (Dead Man's Shoes related) and the other was an album from a Scottish record label. So it led from there... potential human head in a box :D
